Our History and Background Story
Café Bueno was opened in 2012 in Frederick, MD by owners Francisco and Heather.
In October 2019 Café Bueno moved one block south of its former spot to 255 E. 4th. St. to a fully remodeled 100-year-old mill and now features a larger dining room, an expanded cocktail, wine, and beer selection, and a cozy ambiance that matches the comfort of our authentic scratch-made Mexican cuisine.
Why We Picked the Eastside
We picked the Eastside nine years ago because it was an affordable and accessible place for our family to start a business. We decided to stay on the East Side when we expanded because we love it here and couldn’t imagine Café Bueno being anywhere else! East Frederick really has it all: it’s close to everything fun and exciting to happen in Frederick (with better parking). It’s full of history whose buildings tell an important story of the industrial development of Frederick. It is the perfect place for a small family to build their American dream. And it’s full of cool people who have excellent taste in Mexican food.
