I grew up in Mercersburg, PA where my family owned and operated a Commercial General Contracting Company. Upon moving to Frederick, MD in 2009, my wife and I quickly realized Frederick is where we wished to establish our roots and raise a family. In 2014, I started a small boutique development company by purchasing and renovating 323-325 E. Patrick St., which would later house the Frederick Headquarters for Rockwell Construction Co. Since then we have expanded to 17 mixed-use commercial/residential units all located on the east-side of Frederick.
My vision of East Frederick is for a diverse community where both residences and businesses exist to form a cohesive community where anybody would want to live. With Shab Row/Eveready Square forming the retail hub and the expanding “Brewery District”, I feel the East Side of Frederick is poised to become the funky and diverse offshoot to Market/Patrick Streets’ more traditional “Main Street” corridor. The existence of the larger manufacturing businesses along the East Side adds a charming “blue collar” feel to the neighborhood that is welcoming to residences of all economic demographics.
When not working, I enjoy spending time outside with my wife, son, daughter, and golden retriever. I am an obsessive rock climber (which consumes any extra time) and I enjoy traveling often to Spain to visit my wife’s family.
